Inside Sales & Customer Service (B2B) – Belcam Inc. – Rouses Point, NY

Belcam Inc., in business for 70 years, and 100% employee owned, is seeking an experienced B2B Inside Sales and Customer Service associate to work with our dedicated team of employee/owners to achieve increase our customer base and grow our annual sales. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, outgoing and energetic person possessing great communication skills, have a head for detail and accuracy as well as being passionate about closing the deal while providing the best in customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Make direct sales phone calls to new prospects, existing customers and inactive accounts from referrals, call lists and internal database.
  • Build relationships with customers and sell product via phone.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly & monthly sales & productivity goals.
  • Communicate professionally via telephone, email, and verbally.
  • Identify customer needs and present appropriate solutions.
  • Manage a variety of customer situations; respond promptly to customer needs; solicit customer feedback to improve service..
  • Manage time efficiently and effectively.
  • Overcome customer reluctance when applicable, recommend alternative products & up-sell.
  • Navigate multiple computer software products
  • Follow company policies and procedures and carry out miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of proven B2B inside & outside sales experience
  • Prior success with telephone cold calling, Possess the persistence to make a large volume of phone calls in a day (100+)
  • Able to handle pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Self-motivator and highly developed organizational skills
  • Superlative verbal and written communications skills. Excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers
  • Excellent customer service skills(friendly, courteous and helpful)
  • Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, a benefits package; incentive program and salary commensurate with abilities & experience are offered. On-site employment only.
