Following a significant multi million pound investment, Birmingham Business School has recruited to a number of roles to both help deliver its core business and to lift its position in national and global rankings. The School is a pioneer of business education, established as the country’s first Business School in 1902, we have over 100 years of teaching and research experience.
This is a replacement post that forms part of the Birmingham Business School’s continuing strategic commitment to the expansion of its Department of Finance with the aim of developing its research profile and contributing to teaching in finance on the School’s thriving undergraduate and masters programmes in Birmingham and overseas. It is expected that the successful applicant will provide excellent research leadership, and contribute to teaching, including Ph.D. supervision.
The successful candidate will be able to make a strong contribution to REF 2021 as well as teaching quality assessments, programme development and research funding applications. He/she should have an outstanding and sustained international research profile with significant and substantial outputs of international quality, and be able to demonstrate outstanding academic leadership. He/she will have an established track record as an experienced and innovative education leader.
