Providing the Centre Director with direct personal assistance to ensure that they are able to deliver major objectives and projects within the Birmingham Centre for Energy Storage (BCES). The post-holder will organise the Centre Director’s travel, meetings, emails, paper documentation and financial reports and develop a carefully managed administration system for the Centre Director.
This post will also support the BCES delivery team including the Centre Co-Director and the Project Manager, as well as liaising with other partners and members of professional services within the University. These duties will involve working with numerous projects to ensure the smooth, day-to-day running of BCES.
BCES is an ambitious, leading research group within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. The Centre holds a large number of grants which involve multiple partners from academia and industry in the UK and internationally.
Full time starting salary is normally in the range £22,277 to £23,933. With potential progression once in post to £27,705 a year.
